Description

An essential therapy course for those who teach childhood education in schools, therapy schools, alternative providers, home schools and for those parents who want to nurture family dynamics, young people and to develop understanding around teaching and parenting from a therapeutic role model. The course elevates communication skills by concentrating on behaviour science, understanding neurodivergent students, trauma, power dynamics and the creating of a level playing field in nurturing oneself and students. This is done by focusing on an understanding of students that use methods to gain control, by recognising a sense of 'disempowerment', thereby focusing on those aspects that can be worked on to create an 'empowered dynamic' through positive impact in understanding primary needs, behaviour science, communication, cognitive processing and the understanding of respectful relating. The course provides  a foundation of understanding in addressing behaviour concerns, historical influence, development and creates a thorough depth of awareness in power, safety, language and risk assessment. Empowerment Therapy, empowers teachers, alternative providers, parents to enable students to thrive, giving an understanding and the foundations of a regulated 'therapy' around therapeutic processes in addressing social and classroom dynamics; addressing bullying, undermining, attachment disorders, behaviour concerns, communication styles. Empowerment Therapy brings understanding and process, when students are controlling, dismissive, avoidant, vulnerable, disengaged, withdrawn or seek to disturb the learning experience. The course is developed by Amanda McGregor, through decades of experience in working with trauma, neurodiversity, exclusion and undermining. The words 'therapeutic processes' are often widely used by Educators without clearly identifying the influences of behaviour science and the role of therapy, this course gives learning providers and trainers the skills they need to be fully aware of concerns in class room and learning settings and enables them to have a foundation certification of regulation to empower the learning provider, therapist or parent. The course has the power to make real change in developing an enthusiastic culture by focusing on transformation and high values, enabling a foundation of prosperity in community life. The course has bee validated by a Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist and the Complimentary Medical Association and is considered essential in understanding behaviour science in education, learning environments and home settings giving an in depth understanding and invaluable awareness.
