"I spent more time making Outside Notion, it had been through several incarnations before I settled on this set of songs. Taking the writing process in a new direction and introducing subtle orchestral elements. I worked with Amy May (The Xx, Aphex Twin, John Cale) a brilliant arranger & violinist. We referenced the pastoral works of English composers such as Vaughan Williams & Robert Kirby. Young Dreams was a real breakthrough in songwriting terms & was a catalyst for the rest of the album. Ultimately i like that there is still a sense of ambiguity in these songs, not everything needs to be spelt out or to make immediate sense. Sarah Suri (Nano Kino) also joins me on the song, Outside Notion which subsequently became the title of the record."

Wolf Alice have announced plans to release a new EP featuring lullaby versions of select songs from their ‘Blue Weekend’ album. Titled ‘Blue Lullaby’, the release will feature four reworked tracks from their 2021 album including new versions of ‘No Hard Feelings’, ‘Lipstick On The Glass’, ‘How Can I Make It OK?’ and ‘The Last Man On Earth’.

Lavender Days is the new album from Caamp, out via Mom+Pop. Caamp formed when Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall met and bonded over a shared love of music and a shared love of home, specifically the inspiration they culled from the Midwest lives they grew up in. The two began writing and performing and quickly grew a rabid fan base. A self-titled 2016 debut album took flight, Evan and Taylor brought a third member and longtime friend, Matt Vinson, to join on bass just before recording By and By.

"Sometimes, Forever refers to the idea that the good and bad are both temporary and always returning. Feelings of sorrow and emptiness will pass but they will always come back around, as will feelings of joy. This album explores many ups and downs. It moves from the high of love to hopelessness and disconnect. A frustrated loss of control over life and a disconnect from the self reoccur throughout the record, only to circle back to a willingness to let go and be free, whether through love (shotgun, with u) or blissful ignorance (don’t ask me). It’s a coexistence of light and dark, not only lyrically but tonally. Dan once called it the angels and demons record lol."

After a flurry of international activity culminating with a debut North American tour at the end of 2019, like everyone else in the world, Say Sue Me were forced to take a touring hiatus in 2020, and quietly began work on a new album. ‘The Last Thing Left’ was self-recorded and self-produced during lockdown at the band's own Busan studio. “This album has the theme of some realization, eventually the realization of love. Love in relationships, love for oneself, and the ultimate love gained after realizing those two things!”

The band's 2018 debut, Constant Image, was a triumph - a set of songs both dizzy and explosive, balancing new-wave lushness and post-punk frenzy. Love is Yours steps up the ambition and reaches for the horizon.
