Direct from Sandy’s tape archive, these DIY bedroom demos feature his layered harmonies, harpsichord and guitar - all recorded during his time with the Millennium. Though unreleased and hidden away at the time they were recorded, these demos finally get their due!

"Voyage", to Pierre Vassiliu, was not only the title of an album of his, but also a philosophy of life. Travels were not for vacation or rest. They were synonyms of meetings, new music and sometimes, simply, life. These experiences around the world nourished his work, and his career allowed him to set foot on every continent. But his most beautiful travels took place in recording studios.

SOYUZ (СОЮЗ) stole our hearts back in 2022 when we released their album Force Of The Wind to critical acclaim. Shamir’s music is based almost entirely in a hyper-specific, fully autonomous, embodied expression of personhood. On his forthcoming album, Homo Anxietatem, Shamir takes the Latin translation of the title, “anxious man”, and transmutes his anxiety to pop songs. The creation process serves as a balm or elixir, converting internal anxieties to an 11-track sonic playground.

An album titled MAHAL (Live from Big Sur) was momentarily shared to Spotify at midnight on June 23rd, appearing on the Spotify-generated Release Radar playlist of users who listen to Toro Y Moi. However it was removed very quickly, now hidden from the artist’s profile.
