On the whole, and even if you’re overly familiar with the material, the DVD-Audio surround mix of ‘Hotel California’ is an engrossing experience; the multi-channel presentation is sensible and the fidelity excellent. In comparison, the two-channel mix is a little disappointing, but only because it doesn’t have the vibrancy and increased presence of the former, which in its own right is enough to place ‘Hotel California’ on my ‘highly recommended’ list.

Suspended Animation is the 2005 by American supergroup Fantômas. The band features Mike Patton, Buzz "King Buzzo" Osborne, Dave Lombardo, and Trevor Dunn. The album is about each day of the week while this version of the CD is packaged with a 2005 calendar. This has since become their last album but they may return again. This was released on Patton's own Ipecac label.

Be There is the second single from UNKLE's 1998 album Psyence Fiction. While U.N.K.L.E. was the brainchild of James Lavelle, they were without initials and they became UNKLE when DJ Shadow become part of the group for this album. For this mix of "Be There", it would feature vocals from Ian Taylor of The Stone Roses. The version with Taylor would then be remixed by Underdog. The new mix of "The Knock" was done by Noel Gallagher and featured then-Metallica member Jason Newsted on bass and Theremin.
