In this course students are going to learn various techniques of investments. The course has modules with multiple sessions. Basic module has 5 sessions where student get to learn about Introduction to financial literacy, GDP, Inflation, Consumer Price Index (CPI), Time Value Money (TVM), Financial statements, Income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement. types of taxes, how it is impacting in our daily life, Income & expenses, assets & liabilities, Net worth. Insight of incomes streams are discussed in the program such as Business or salary – Employed, self-employed, business owners, Real estate - $0 investment, referral fee, buy & sell properties, Investments –compounding, equity, bonds, mutual funds, bank deposits, fund managers, Royalties – On books, music albums. Intellectual properties (IP) - Inventions'; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce, Hobbies – sports, music, arts, teaching. Online – amazon, YouTube, social media ads. Any other sources you think of without much physical travel or time consuming. All the sessions will have assignments. Currently there is an inflation in every nation. Students learn about what is inflation? and what causes inflation? Learn about what is best investment during such period such as TIPS stands for Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities, bills, Stocks, properties, Commodities. Personal cash flow such as cash-inflow, cash outflow, how to evaluate net cash flow.
