Hi, I’m Heather, and welcome to this Qigong Two Week Program.Have you ever found yourself being consumed or run by your emotions, instead of experiencing personal mastery? You are not alone.I know that I could find myself stuck in an emotion, for example, anger or grumpiness, and not be sure how to change my physical, mental, and emotional state in a healthy and nurturing way.Instead, I would stay stuck or unconscious grasp at unhealthy things to ‘take the edge off,’ and find relief. Whether wine, chocolate, getting stuck in drama, shopping, or binge watching Netflix, I found ways to try to escape my state. However, all of these things only acted like temporary pacifiers because they do not create a way to ignite self-healing, consciousness, and transformation. When I started a regular qigong practice, I cultivated increasing levels of self-mastery. I discovered I had a healthy and empowering tool to shift out of suffering.One of the many benefits of Qigong is that it can enable you to master your emotions. Instead of being triggered by something, you can increasingly experience the emotion in your body, mind, and feelings and decide how to act consciously. Qigong creates the opportunity for self-healing as you can transform negative body, mind, and emotional states into positive ones. Isn’t that amazing?In Qigong, you link breath with movement, which stills the mind chatter and soothes the heart. You also activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which melts stress and increases the healing response in the body. But Qigong also gives you space to move blockages in the body, mind, emotional and energetic layers of your being so you can alchemize the ‘negative emotions’ into more peace, joy, freedom, courage, and bliss.I’ve created a two-week program for you to follow with flow practices all filmed in beautiful outdoor locations. I can’t wait to share these video practices with you! For best results, follow each daily qigong practice with the meditation provided for the week.After you go through the two-week program once, you can choose which qigong practice best serves you on any given day depending on your body, mind, and emotional state. You can do a quick 2-5 minute journal session after each daily qigong flow and meditation to write down what you were experiencing before and then after the session.
