Philedition | 2015 | ISBN: 2918590703 | English | 43 pages | PDF | 99.89 MB

The North American P-51 is among the most famous fighters of WW2, and the P-51D probably the model the most popular. The RAF became a late user of this model as Mustang IV, and the Mustang IV participated to the last weeks of the war over the continent in escorting the British bombers or over the sea or escorting off the Norwegian or Danish coasts the Beaufighters or Mosquitos of Coastal Command. Among the squadrons which flew the Mustang IV before the end of war, we find Nos 19, 65, 303 (Polish), 442 RCAF and 611. With close to 40 pages, over 30 photos and ten colour profiles.
