Description

Do you find speaking English hard? Is your writing much better than your speaking? This is very common among English learners. One of the main reasons is that we do not get opportunity to practice speaking. This course will help you to become more confident in speaking. It will give you the knowledge to start an continue a conversation. You will learn what is polite and not polite. There are exercises on improving your speaking skills, for example fluency or pronunciation. It includes lots of practice activities and teaches you how to check your own speaking so you can see how to improve.

I have taught 100s of students, many of them who are studying for the IELTS exam. I have used many of the strategies I use to help students do well in their speaking exams, to help you in this course to improve in confidence and fluency when speaking English. What does the course include? It includes using grammar, for example advanced tenses as well as conditional sentences, to improve your conversation. We look at what small talk is and how to chose good topics. We also discuss ways to improve you vocabulary, with ideas on how to remember new words.
