This course is the fifth in a complete series covering the Juniper Networks JNCIA-Junos certification track. In this course, Operational Monitoring and Maintenance for JNCIA-Junos, you'll learn about the different methods and procedures for monitoring and maintaining Juniper Junos devices.

First, you'll learn how to monitor the Juniper system and chassis status with the CLI regardless of the hardware platform. Next, you'll move on to monitoring interfaces using the ‘monitor interface’ command. This is a really powerful command that allows you to monitor interface statistics and traffic in real-time. Then, you'll look at the network troubleshooting tools - ping and traceroute. Finally, you'll explore the steps involved in the process of recovering the root password. As with all the courses in this series, there will be plenty of time spent on the command line demonstrating all the commands covered to cement your knowledge.

When you are finished with this course, you'll have taken another step towards gaining the Juniper Networks JNCIA-Junos certification.
