Après l’EP remarqué “Mesure seconde”, Laurie Darmon revient avec son premier album, intitulé “Février 91”. “Février 91” ou le chiffre secret d’une mélancolie urbaine, intime et entêtante. Dans cet album, l’écriture de Laurie Darmon emprunte plusieurs voies, mais nous ramène toujours à l’origine : “Février 91”, date du début d’une décennie d’influences musicales majeures, MC Solaar, Will Smith ou Lauryn Hill. Sans parler des plus anciennes, Christophe (pour qui elle écrit trois titres de son dernier album dont le grand “Océan d’Amour”), Barbara (la base), Reggiani, Sanson etc. “Février 91” donc, date ordinaire inscrite au dos d’une photo de soi qu’on regarde comme la photo d’une autre, qui donne son titre et son final/épilogue à l’album pour remonter le cours du temps et enfin comprendre. / After the EP noticed “Far second”, Laurie Darmon returns with his first album entitled “February 91”. “February 91” or the figure of a secret of a melancholy urban, intimate and heady.
