Altair has released Inspire PolyFoam 2023.0 is an essential toolset to simulate and validate the part design and physical processes that are required to create a polyurethane foam part.

New Features and Enhancements 2024
Altair Inspire PolyFoam 2024 includes the following new features and enhancements.

Construction History Viewer
PolyFoam now includes a Construction History window, which you can use to explore variations on your model without creating additional models.
Rotate Injection Plane
You can now change the injection plane’s angle when creating nozzles.
Nozzle Controls
PolyFoam now offers greater control over moving nozzles. You can adjust the turn radius of a nozzle’s path, change the speed at which the nozzle moves, and adjust the angle of a nozzle as it travels along its path.
Meshing Preview
You can now preview the resolution of the part’s mesh based on current analysis settings before running a full analysis.
Subdivision Mesh
You can now prioritize speed or precision in the Run Analysis window→Preferences tab→Advanced Mesh Options.
Specimen Analysis
You can now define one or more three-dimensional zones of interest in your model and get analysis results for them in the Analysis Explorer.

Altair Inspire PolyFoam 2024.0

Inspire PolyFoam is the newest simulation analysis tool of Altair. It is an integral part of Inspire for manufacturing platform. With Inspire Polyfoam, learn and perform a mold filling simulation and evaluate design concepts. Inspire PolyFoam software predicts polyurethane reaction phenomena during the foaming process such as injection, foaming, curing and post-foaming considering chemical reactions and physical reactions. Inspire PolyFoam can predict the foaming pattern, heat and mass transfer including density distribution and temperature distribution according to the foaming component that affects the quality of the product.
