Trimble announced the introduction of the latest versions of its Tekla software solutions for constructible Building Information Modeling (BIM), structural engineering and steel fabrication management: Tekla Structural Designer 2024 SP3 Suite.

Release notes: Tekla Tedds 2024 Service Pack 1
Tedds Application
Learning Tekla Tedds is now easy and smooth with the new Instructor side pane window. The new Instructor side pane window shows instructions for the currently active ribbon command. The Instructor side pane window gives you:
- a short description of the command-
- steps on how to use the command
- short example animations on how to use the command
- links to more comprehensive videos and instructions in Tekla User Assistance
The Instructor is available for all commands on the Ribbon.
Other updates
TEDDS-8763 Enhanced the project manager in the Tedds application so that the corresponding document view is automatically shown when an open document is selected in the project tree view.
TEDDS-8764 Tedds Application fixed to ensure that if a document window is maximised the Connectivity indicator does not obscure the document min/max/close buttons on the ribbon.
TEDDS-8736 Allow more complex expressions to be calculated, nested expression resolution has increased from 16 levels deep to 32 levels deep.
TEDDS-8574 Updated all drawing functions which include X, Y, Width and Height parameters to support negative width and height parameters which will result in the shape being drawn in the opposite direction of the appropriate axis (DrawArc, DrawArcIf, DrawRectangle, DrawRectangleIf, DrawEllipse, DrawEllipseIf, DrawFillRectangle, DrawFillRectangleIf, DrawFillEllipse, DrawFillEllipseIf, DrawGrid, DrawGridIf, DrawClipRectangle)
TEDDS-8521 Fixed the product release notes being shown on both the first and second launch of the version rather than just the first.
TEDDS-8611 Fixed the error "Could not load file or assembly System.Memory Version=4.0.1.1" from occurring when using the Tedds calculator API.
