Donbass: The Flipside of War (2023)

Every day, they head out to the war-torn cities and villages of the Lugansk People's Republic. Their mission is to find, identify, and give a dignified farewell to the innocent civilians lost to Ukrainian shelling. The activists from the NGO 'Memorial: We Shall Not Forget, We Shall Not Forgive' not only put their lives on the line for proper burials but also bring humanitarian aid, help with guardianship for orphaned children, and evacuate people from frontline communities. What drives them to do this dangerous work?
