"Welcome to Wherever You Are" is INXS' album that was drastically different from their previous albums. As the Australian rock group's eighth studio album, it changed direction and incorporated a new sound, featuring a 60-piece orchestra and sitars to create a "raw" sound, an overall heartfelt creation. Welcome to Wherever You Are reached number on in the UK and featured singles "Baby Don't Cry" and No. 2 single on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks "Not Enough Time".

"Listen Like Thieves" is the fifth studio album by INXS and was released in 1985. The album was a breakthrough for the band and featured their first top 5 single in the US, "What You Need". It reached #3 on the Australian Albums Chart, and #11 on the U.S. Billboard 200 in 1985.

"The Swing" was released in 1984 and is INXS' fourth studio album. The album features the single “Original Sin”, which was the first INXS single to go #1 in Australia and remained in this position for two whole weeks, shortly followed by reaching #1 in both Argentina and France. The Swing enjoyed long-term success on the Australian music charts, remaining in the top 50 selling albums for over 2 years.
