Tokyo based band and Afrobayashi pioneers Ajate are back with their third album: experience the explosive encounter of Afro groove and Japanese traditional Ohayashi music!

Service was the seventh and, at the time, final studio album by Yellow Magic Orchestra. The band dissolved the following year after a world tour, but would later reform in 1993 for a one-off reunion album, Technodon. Like ×∞Multiplies, it contains a mixture of YMO songs and comedy sketches performed by Super Eccentric Theater, or S.E.T. The first Dutch/German edition of the album omitted the sketches, effectively cutting the album's length in half.

Naughty Boys is the sixth album by Yellow Magic Orchestra, recorded from October 1982 to March 1983. It contains the pop-oriented single "Kimi ni Mune Kyun", as well as a "preview" of "You've Got to Help Yourself", which was released in its full version on the companion album Naughty Boys Instrumental, and again with vocals on Service. A remix album, Naughty Boys Instrumental contained nearly the entire Naughty Boys album as instrumental tracks in an entirely different running order, as well as the b-side to "Kimi ni, mune kyun.", "Chaos Panic"; and the full instrumental version of "You've Got to Help Yourself", which was released in "preview" form on the previous album.

T-Square (formerly known as The Square), stylized in all-uppercase T-SQUARE, is a Japanese jazz fusion band formed in 1976. They became famous in the late 1970s and early 1980s along with other Japanese jazz bands. They are known for songs such as "Truth", "Japanese Soul Brothers", "Takarajima","Omens of Love", among others.

A collection of Japanese songs performed by Ryoko Sunagawa, one of Japan's leading soprano singers. This album includes 17 famous traditional Japanese songs that are familiar to all Japanese people, and 11 songs from Makiko Kinoshita's song collection "Counting Flowers'. Sunagawa's beautiful voice and the delicate and rich ensemble with Ryuichiro Sonoda, a pianist whom she trusts with all her heart, are a must-listen.

Nicole Rieu débute au milieu des années 1960 au sein d'un groupe d'adolescents appelé « Les Spits ». Celui-ci, enthousiasmé par la jeune chanteuse lors d'une audition, lui propose immédiatement un contrat discographique chez Disques AZ et dissuade ses parents de lui laisser continuer ses études. Elle enregistre son premier 45 tours avec Jean Musy. Dès 1969 avec ses propres compositions (Si les oiseaux pouvaient parler, Le soleil, Que dirais-tu ?, Un amour, etc.), elle chante à l'Olympia (Paris) en première partie de Daniel Guichard, de Joe Dassin, de Serge Lama, d'Enrico Macias et de Salvatore Adamo. Elle publie le 45 tours Espagne en 1970 avec la chanson J'aime tant en face B. Trois ans plus tard, en 1973, elle est repérée par Barclay avec qui elle signe un contrat de disque. Nicole connaît alors, dès son arrivée, un très grand succès avec la chanson Je suis, une chanson dont la musique est composée par André Georget et Jean-Pierre Mirouze et le texte est écrit par Mitzi Bravine, et qui s'avère être un énorme tube sur les ondes radiophoniques. Sa carrière populaire est alors lancée. Le compositeur Jean-Pierre Goussaud lui signe la chanson Homme en 1974, et l'année suivante, Nicole publie son premier album solo, le disque Naissance.

An album between worlds - ancient Japanese folklore, modern European folk-pop, sometimes even with a distinctly Celtic touch: That's the first collaboration between singer Chiyomi Yamada and the Japanese folk band Baobab. Originally a classically trained soprano, the exceptional artist has been experimenting with traditional Japanese sounds and the combination of Far Eastern and Western sound aesthetics for many years. On this album, she returns to her roots both musically and spiritually: "Songs of my land" is a tribute to the ancient Japanese folk song, to the mysterious Shinto spirituality and to the people who have been celebrating life and love on this land with their songs for thousands of years.
