Welcome to the class!
In this class we will be drawing a Giraffe using Uni-Posca Markers on black illustration board. Drawing this giraffe will give you great practice at learning to draw and shade.
We'll start the class by sketching the giraffe using a white colored pencil. We will use a white pencil because it shows up well on the black illustration board (is you don't have a black illustration board or paper you may use white paper). After mapping out the main axis of the giraffe's neck and head we will fill out the rest of it.
In the student recourses tab I have provided a photo of the giraffe sketch before it is colored in.
After completing the sketch we will start coloring in the giraffe using the markers.
Here is a full list of the colores. If you don't have a certain color don't worry. Use a similar color or skip the color.
