Everyone wants a great-looking resume, with all the right content effectively and attractively organized. The design of a resume and its contents should have equal weight. In this course, instructor Sabrena Deal takes you through designing your resume in InDesign. Sabrena shows you some basic resume guidelines, including her four principles of design and ways to optimize your resume to get past applicant tracking systems more effectively. She demonstrates how to set up your InDesign document, add text, and organize your resume content. Sabrena also goes over formatting text boxes, creating and editing character styles, and choosing the right typefaces and colors for your resume. She explains how to use character styles and colors to create a bold resume that will set you apart. Plus, Sabrena explores adding hyperlinks to your resume, exporting it as a PDF, and packaging it to be edited later with all its components intact.
