Eight years have passed since that It's Time to Walk (2016), which he recorded in the company of such illustrious names in our jazz ecosystem as Javier Colina, Marco Mezquida, Juan Diego Mateos and Perico Sambeat, the Uruguayan-born artist returns to the quintet format but with a radically different alignment, which allows him to expand the radius of action of his always eclectic beat. And this time with the tenor sax of Julián Argüelles and the electric guitar of Álvaro del Valle acting as styluses and revolutionizing the basic trio that Guillermo forms together with the piano of the Sevillian Chiqui Cienfuegos and the Israeli double bassist Gal Maestro, sister of the illustrious pianist Shai Maestro.

There are many carats that are concentrated in this free space that McGill favors, a man who as soon pays express tribute to the trumpeter Kenny Wheeler (Planktone) as he favors the encounter with the blues in the case of Planktone, where he also distills a few drops of house brand bulería.
