The Rolling Stones have teamed up with German house DJ Purple Disco Machine to produce a remix of their song "Mess It Up" from their new record "Hackney Diamonds". The Stones' 24th studio album was released on October 20, the remix on Friday (November 17). You can read the interview with Jagger, Richards and Wood in our current cover story.
The remix titled "Mess It Up (Purple Disco Machine Remix)" features parts by the late drummer Charlie Watts. In the video you can also see the lyrics, which are presented as a collage art.
One day after the release of the remix, that is, on December 18, Keith Richards turns 80 years old.
