Unforgettable – A Musical Tribute to Nat King Cole is a soundtrack album released in the UK in 1983 by the CBS Records division of Columbia in conjunction with the broadcast of American pop singer Johnny Mathis's BBC television concert special of the same name that featured Cole's daughter Natalie. The front of the original album jacket credits the concert performers as "Johnny Mathis and Natalie Cole", whereas the CD booklet reads, "Johnny Mathis with special guest Natalie Cole".

"Natalie Cole en Español" finds the multi-GRAMMY winner inspired by both the bilingual recording legacy of her father Nat King Cole and a growing passion for the timeless romanticism of the great Latin music composers. The must-have recording will reintroduce a new generation of fans to many of Latin Music's most romantic standards – with both new interpretations of Spanish-language classics previously recorded by Nat King Cole, and Natalie's own personal selection of songs that have touched her heart and make this album truly her own.

This release reunites Cole with producer by Tommy LiPuma, who produced "Unforgettable" and was the hit maker behind George Benson and Diana Krall. This collection is a classic blend of jazz-inflected pop, with the best and the brightest in the business. Backed by a plethora of stars, including trumpeter Roy Hargrove, bassist Christian McBride, pianist Joe Sample, and drummer Lewis Nash, Cole's lithe, Ella Fitzgerald-tinged vocals are showcased in a number pleasing settings.

On this new release, Van Morrison and the guests selected and recorded some of his songs from the catalogue of 360 songs across his career. Deliberately steering away from his more well-known classics, Van enlisted some of the artists he most respects to perform these songs with him to re-craft and re-imagine them. The album was recorded in his home town of Belfast and London in the United Kingdom over the last year, using a variety of musicians and fresh arrangements.
