Grammy Award-winning duo Bob Moses release their highly anticipated third album, The Silence in Between. The Silence in Between marks the Los Angeles-based band’s first release since signing to Astralwerks in a unique global partnership with Domino Recording Co. Love Brand New is one of the most anthemic moments on The Silence in Between, “Love Brand New” finds Vancouver-bred musicians / producers Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance tapping into their deep-rooted love for ’90s alt-rock and left-of-center dance music. Written with Michel Zitron and John Martin (a Swedish production duo known for their work with the likes of Avicii and Swedish House Mafia), the track encompasses a glorious collision of moody guitar tones, mercurial textures, and wildly propulsive beats as Bob Moses channel the dizzying euphoria of new romance.

Bob Moses filmed an hour-long concert film from an abandoned radio tower in Topanga, California. Starting atop the structure as night took over, Bob Moses slowly worked their way down the tower performing multiple sets in a variety of configurations, both as a band and in their original two-piece setup.
The duo of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance now invite fans to relive the experience with a new live album, Falling Into Focus – Live 2020, featuring the entire set from the concert and a never before heard band version of “Desire” that is exclusive to this live album.

Bob Moses formed when two high-school acquaintances from Vancouver (one a rock musician, the other making trance and progressive house) happened upon each other in a New York City parking lot. Not bad for an origin story. Recorded in Los Angeles after a few years of road testing, their second album (after 2015’s Days Gone By, which yielded them a Grammy) plays like a more anthemic spin on the style of bands like Chromatics or The xx: sleek, melancholic club pop with a touch of indie rock. “You and I found our faith in the will of a lie,” Tom Howie sings on the Depeche Mode-ish “Back Down,” rising up before vanishing into the dry ice of Jimmy Vallance’s synths.

Bob Moses for their next release, Desire, have written a concept record for the club. Presented over six continuously mixed tracks, it's a love tale for the digital age: all about the positives and pitfalls of humanity’s driving wants, especially in these technology-driven times.
