Amanda Lee / Lee Wai Man is a Hong Kong pop singer and actress. Amanda is primarily known for her singing. She began singing professionally in 1989 as part of a duo called The Echo, but went solo in 1992.

Canto-pop singer Amanda Lee is making her comeback with her first new music release in six years. To shake things up a bit, she has been going by the name "A. Lee", but that strong, low, and expressive voice is unmistakable. Love Passion comes with four new songs and fourteen memorable hits. Lee left a deep impression in the 90s with strong anthems like "Live a Better Life Than You" (Track 3), "(You Will Not Have) A Good Future" (Track 4), and "I Live For Myself" (Track 11), and she follows up now with "Good Future" (Track 1). The original songwriters of "(You Will Not Have) A Good Future" - composer Keith Yip and lyricist Wyman Wong - especially collaborated again for this number, providing an answer after all these years. The other new song, "Women Aren't Stupid" (Track 5), also comes with impressive credentials, as it is composed by Chan Toi Jing with lyrics by Fama's 6 Wing; Lee went all the way to Singapore to record the song with producer Hanjin. Mandarin versions of the songs are included in the album.
