Crosby, Stills & Nash is de naam van een band die werd gevormd door David Crosby, Stephen Stills en Graham Nash. Hun songs kenmerken zich door unieke vocale samenzangen en een mix van folk, pop en rock. Ook de geëngageerde teksten worden een handelsmerk van de groep. De band, waar ook Neil Young enige tijd deel van uitmaakt onder de naam Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, behoort in de jaren zestig tot en met tachtig tot een van meest toonaangevende Amerikaanse bands. De bandleden hangen de gitaren in 2016 aan de wilden omdat het steeds vaker tot onderlinge ruzies komt. Toch wordt er nog wel over een reünie gesproken. Maar die komt er niet meer door het overlijden van David Crosby in 2023.

Waterbrothers begins as a David Crosby and Graham Nash performance before they introduce an old friend who goes by the name of Neil Young. This was a show as part of a Sheriff Hongisto Prisoner's Benefit, done at the Winterland in San Francisco, California on 26 March, 1972. This recording is directly from the on-air broadcast on KSAN-FM, so there is a point where you will hear the announcer but he does not interrupt any songs. This is not only a historical document of the music of Crosby, Nash & Young, but a wonderful document of Bay Area radio broadcast history. This is a Super Sonic presentation.
