Mantras (stylized as ~mAntras~) is the sixth studio album by American rock band Alien Ant Farm, released on April 26, 2024. It is their first studio album in 9 years, since Always and Forever in 2015. The album was announced on January 19, 2024, alongside releasing a single titled "So Cold" that same day.

One of the most important and revered bands of the post-punk and alternative rock scenes, the Jesus and Mary Chain's artistic impact is incalculable. Heavily influenced not only by the dangerous sounds of bands like the Velvet Underground and the Stooges, but also by the sonic grandeur and pop savvy of the '60s-era girl group sound and the Beach Boys, the band was able to find the beauty in noise, while both celebrating pop conventions and thoroughly subverting them. Their landmark 1985 album, Psychocandy, basically invented noise pop, while Darklands stripped away the scuzz to reveal pristine melodies. From there the group explored many aspects of rock, from beat-heavy electro punk to dusty heartbreak ballads - hitting big with "Sometime Always" in 1994 - before going their separate ways in a cloud of bad feelings…

My Morning Jacket Hailed as the new heroes of the alt-country scene when they debuted in the late 1990s, My Morning Jacket have matured into an eclectic, sonically diverse ensemble whose work encompassed indie rock, psychedelia, folk, blues, and even dashes of funk and prog rock. Led by songwriter and lead vocalist Jim James, My Morning Jacket's music is most strongly rooted in Americana, with Neil Young, the Band, and the psychedelic end of the '60s folk scene as obvious reference points. However, James and his bandmates have shown a frequent interest in pushing their boundaries, adding new flavors over the course of their career while holding on to the strong melodies and impassioned vocals that were their calling cards.

Mourning Widows was a musical project led by former Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt. The band was formed in 1997, and they released two albums during their career. Despite not being widely released in the United States, both albums were successful in Japan. Bettencourt formed the band after the moderate success of his 1996 solo album, Schizophonic. The band's sound went back to a funkier guitar-driven rock reminiscent of Extreme, while still having post-grunge and alternative influences. After the end of the Furnished Souls For Rent tour, in 2001, Nuno decided to dismiss the band and released a record as Population 1, mostly recorded by himself. That became the name of his new band too, which would later become DramaGods.

The Smashing Pumpkins Alt-rock icons the Smashing Pumpkins are recognized for their amalgam of progressive rock, heavy metal, goth, psychedelia, and dream pop; a layered, powerful style driven by swirling, distorted guitars that churned beneath lead singer/songwriter Billy Corgan's angst-ridden lyrics. One of the most visible bands of '90s, alongside grunge acts like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins achieved mainstream success over the decade with classic releases Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. After a foray into electronic rock on Adore, Corgan issued a final pair of efforts before putting the group to sleep for an extended early-2000s hiatus that ended with 2007's Zeitgeist.

In I985 the group achieved worldwide success following the release of their first single ‘Life In A Northern Town’ which saw their subsequent debut album going into the American Top 20.

With no musical background and without ever having performed in public, Zelmani rose to the top of the charts with her debut album. In spite of being known as very shy, she soon reached an audience all over Europe and Asia with her tender singer/songwriter country. Zelmani got her first guitar at the age of 14 and was taught some chords by her father. She learned to write songs, and almost ten years later, sent a few tapes to various record companies. Sony replied first and brought her together with producer and guitarist Lars Halapi, known for having worked with Ulf Lundell and Bo Kaspers Orkester.
