Italian pianist Vanessa Benelli Mosell began taking piano lessons at age 3, and at 7 she was enrolled in the International Piano Academy in Imola, where she studied with Franco Scala. In 2007, she moved to London to study at the Royal College of Music and worked with Dmitri Alexeev. She graduated in 2012. Benelli Mosell won the Elba Festival Prize and the first award of the Pietrasanta International Dance and Visual Arts Festival. She has toured China, North America, and South America, and performed in the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, England, Israel, Russia, and Turkey. She has been a soloist with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna. She became a member of the Moscow Soloists in 2012, replacing Martha Argerich. Benelli Mosell was mentored by Karlheinz Stockhausen, and she gave a marathon performance of his works, as well as recording Klavierstück XII. Her repertoire also includes standard Romantic and modern works, and she has recorded music by Chopin, Liszt, Scriabin, Mussorgsky, Debussy, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov, and Glass. She records for Decca, and is a Steinway Artist.

Bruce Springsteen once said he intended to make an album with words like Bob Dylan that sounded like Phil Spector where he sang like Roy Orbison, a nifty summary of many, but not all, of his artistic ambitions and a key to his appeal. Fans of music icon Brenda Lee will be able to listen to some of Lee's biggest hits in the latest release Brenda Lee Greatest Hits. The album features 15 tracks remastered from original production tapes. It highlights top songs including "I'm Sorry," Lee's first No. 1 single (1960), "Sweet Nothin's" and the No. 1 track "I Want To Be Wanted" (1960). Released in 2003, 'Boomslang' was Johnny Marr's first solo studio album. Recorded at Clear Studios in Manchester, with James Spencer (New Order, The Charlatans), 'Boomslang' comprised of eleven tracks that combined his signature guitar playing with heavy psychedelic rhythms. However, due to the pandemic, the project was put on hold and the band released "Isolation Boulevard" instead. This included remote recording sessions that gave the old material a new kick. The album was well received and the single "Set Me Free" placed in many heritage rock charts.With the Covid period of isolation behind us, SWEET began work on "Full Circle" again. The band's touring plans interrupted the sessions in the meantime, but the recordings were finally completed in spring 2024. EXTRAORDINARY MORRISSEY BROADCAST FROM HIS MALADJUSTED TOUR After his solo-contract with EMI expired, Morrissey signed to RCA in 1995. On his new label he recorded his next album, Southpaw Grammar, at the Miraval Studios in southern France. It reached number 4 in the UK album charts, but made little impact compared to its two predecessors. In September 1995, Morrissey served as the support act for the European leg of David Bowie's Outside Tour. Backstage at the Aberdeen gig, Morrissey was taken ill and taken to hospital; he did not return for the rest of the tour. Later referring to the tour critically, he stated that when you become involved with Bowie, "you have to worship at the Temple of David". Morrissey returned on Island Records in 1997, releasing the single Alma Matters in July, followed by his next album Maladjusted in August. The album peaked at number 8 in the UK album charts. Its further two singles, Roy's Keen and Satan Rejected My Soul , both peaked outside the top 30 on the UK singles chart. The Maladjusted Tour began in Toronto on 12th September 97, and ended its first leg on 12th October at LA s Greek Theatre, where Moz and his band performed probably the finest show of the tour. Recorded for live broadcast on West Coast Radio, the gig remains previously unreleased but is now finally available on this new CD. Bonus tracks here come from an earlier broadcast made in the KROQ studio on 16th August 97, for the station s Modern Rock Live segment.

COSTELLO BACKED BY HIS KEYBOARD MAESTRO FOR A STUNNING 1996 BROADCAST RECORDING In the spring of 1996, Elvis Costello played a series of intimate club dates backed only by Steve Nieve on the piano, in support of his All This Useless Beauty album. An ensuing summer and fall tour with the Attractions proved to be the death knell for the band. With relations between Costello and bassist Bruce Thomas at breaking point, Costello announced that the current tour would be the Attractions' last. One of the finest shows on the tour was performed at New York s Supper Club on 22nd May 96, where a quite stunning set was performed including many tracks from the new record and a host of classics and obscurities from previous albums, mixed up with a healthy selection of covers. Recorded for live FM Radio Broadcast this extraordinary concert is now available on this double CD in its entirety, for the first time.

EARLY BROADCAST RECORDING FROM THE RECENTLY SINGLE ROBERT PLANT IN 1983 Following the demise of Led Zeppelin in December 1980, Robert Plant considered abandoning music in favour of teaching. He nevertheless embarked on a successful solo career, helped by encouragement from Genesis drummer Phil Collins, who would go on to play with Plant. Robert Plant's solo career began with the album Pictures at Eleven in 1982, followed by 1983's The Principle of Moments. The latter record featured the track Big Log , which became Plant s debut chart hit in territories worldwide. Following the strength of his first two releases, Plant launched a successful tour in 1983, which covered dates in the US and the UK. One of the finest shows performed on the tour was at London s Hammersmith Odeon on 12th December which, somewhat bravely for the singer, did not feature a single Led Zeppelin song. Even the introduction of special guest Jimmy Page, who joined Robert for the encore, didn t change things as the pair burst into a version of the old Elvis tune Treat Her Right , before the full band left the stage to understandably, frenzied screams of more . Recorded for live FM Radio Broadcast but previously unreleased, this superb gig is now available in its entirety for the first time on this 2CD set.

THE CLASSIC 1981 SHOW AT BOND INTERNATIONAL CASINO NYC • In support of their 1981 album Sandinista!, The Clash played a series of 17 concerts at Bonds International Casino in New York City in May and June 1981. Due to their wide publicity, the concerts became an important moment in the history of the band. Some of the nights were recorded for FM broadcast. • The site of the concerts was formerly Bonds department store which had been converted into a large second-floor hall. Promoters kept the name because there was a large Bonds sign on the outside of the building. As The Clash had not yet broken out into mass popularity in the US, eight shows were originally scheduled: 28, 29, 30, 31 May and 1, 2, 3 and 5 June 1981. However, given the venue's legal capacity limit of 1750, the series was blatantly oversold (3500) right from the first night, leading the New York City Fire Department to cancel the Saturday, 30 May performance.
